Trumpet- $795. Selmer Paris, Model 24B, serial #150xx. Brass, reinforced bell, Medium-Large .458 bore. Really excellent condition, never damaged. Plays great! This is one very special horn for the Big Band/Jazz musician who would love to own a vintage horn.
Flute - Buffet Silver Plated w/Headstart kit - $595. This Flute is in excellent/fully restored condition, and includes the extra curved headjoint and special case. Perfect for that student who wishes to play before they have grown enough to accommodate a regular instrument. What is especially nice is having both the straight and curved headjoint in the case so both teacher and student can play on the same instrument (or Mother and Daughter/Father and Son, etc.), as well as having the ability to start with the curved headjoint and then switch to the regular straight head when able. This is a closed-hole 'upper-student' level instrument, made in England.
Alto Saxophone - Bundy II - $350. This is your usual Marching Band/Starter Saxophone. It plays great, fully reconditioned, including mouthpiece and case. For this price, you just can't find a better buy!
French Horn - Besson Double *NEW* - $895. For many years it sat in the closet while the single horns were rented out. This is a NEW F-Horn, even though it is not a current model by Besson. The previous dealer found this horn when they were cleaning out the backroom. The original list price was about $1,895. This is a GREAT bargain for only $795!
Flute - Armstrong Model 104 Silver-plated - $250. Cleaned/disinfected/reconditioned to 'play condition'. Includes case and cleaning/tuning rod. This Flute plays great and is buffed and shining with any leaking pads replaced and other pads are in good condition, without any tears or scuffs, etc. No dents and the case is in very good condition. Perfect for starter instead of renting, or for Marching Band or in the bleachers at a game or just to have a backup Flute. At this price you can't go wrong!
Oboe - Jupiter Model 355 student model - $950. This Jupiter student oboe is in EXCELLENT condition. Very lightly used and I really should be asking a lot more for it. I just checked various musician sales sites and saw it listed a few times for much more. The new list price is at least $2,115. and it typically sells new for about $1,600 if you do a lot of digging. While this oboe isn't new, from the condition of the case, pads, corks, etc., you would have to take my word that it is used! You just would never know by looking at it.
The specs are: ABS Resin body (which is basically a very durable, dense and wood-like plastic body that is not subject to cracks), with 'Simplified Conservatory' silver-plated keys. A beautiful student oboe with L & R hand C/D trill, adjustable F#/G# articulation, and a low Bb key. ABS molded case is included.
Clarinet- Buffet Model B-12 student model - $295. This Buffet student model B-12 ABS polished black with nickel keys Clarinet is in very good condition, having been completely reconditioned top to bottom. Includes case and mouthpiece. Plays GREAT!
Violin- 3/4 Size- student model - $195. Used body and bow, professionally fitted with a NEW heavy-duty thermoplastic/aluminum valence case, NEW Aubert maple bridge, NEW Super Sensitive/Red Label strings, and NEW real Ebony tailpiece with 4 Wittner fine tuners. This completely reconditioned instrument is tuned up and ready to go! Just the new parts alone are worth $200.
Viola- 14" Size- Schroetter Model 320 - $190. Very used but still in good condition for your string orchestra student. Instrument has been completely play-conditioned and includes case and bow. The body has some scrapes here and there, but it is perfect for a transitional instrument before moving to a full-sized (16") Viola. Although this instrument is a true 'Viola', it could be restrung to play as a 4/4 Violin, even though the body is a bit deeper than your traditional Violin.
Alto Saxophone - Conn 7M - $295. This instrument was just play-conditioned, which included total disassembly, cleaning the body and all pads, replacing any pads that were going bad, e-assembling/adjusting/seating pads, and cleaning the case, etc. For this price, this is a GREAT buy!
Flute - Gemeinhardt - Model 2SP - $295. Arguably the most popular student Flute in the world, this completely reconditioned instrument is as close to new as you will ever find. Closed-hole, silver-plated head/body/keys, with offset G key.
Trumpet- Besson - Model 609 -$150. It has some dents here and there but is in good playing condition. This trumpet has been completely cleaned, including valves, slides, etc., and includes a workable mouthpiece and case. This would be a great trumpet for someone starting out or to use in Marching Band or the bleachers for Pep Band.
Trumpet- Besson - Model 2-20 - $250. This English Besson trumpet was made in 1965, and was considered a really nice 'Intermediate/Pro' horn. It plays great and has a nice 'heft' that you just don't see in today's horns. It has been lovingly restored to wonderful playing condition, with all slides, valves, and casings/bore cleaned. Case and workable mouthpiece included.
